TEOTIHUACAN, Mexique, 450-750 ap. J.-C.
Standing man, h. 6 cm. This figure is delicately carved in a magnificent green/black stone. The details of the face are precise. We can see his eyes surmounted by a well-cleared arch of the eyebrows, a nose, a mouth and ears. A headdress is placed on this man's head. The head is oversized compared to the other parts of the body. The top of the head and the legs are broken. Probably due to the long burial time of this piece. Important earth deposits are embedded in the incisions carved on this stone.
